Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets compared to their human counterparts, we stress the importance of an annual or even biannual physical examinations. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

Vaccination:  We offer vaccination protocols that are adjusted to the specific needs of your pet.  Rabies vaccination plays a major role in keeping humans safe as well as your pet.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services including radiographs and laboratory tests. 
      
Surgical Services:  Our surgical suite is where we do spays and neuters, c-sections, wound repairscruciate surgeries, limb amputations etc.
   
Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. The patient's vital signs are monitored during anesthetic using modern equipment such as a pulse oximeter and fully trained Registered Veterinary Technologists.
       
Radiology Services:
  Our on-site digital x-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of fractures, foreign bodies, assessing numbers of puppies to be whelped, etc.
    
Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, digital dental x-ray, tooth extractions and minor/major oral surgery.
   
Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology (blood work), serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
    
Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification.  We can also make personalized name tags for your pet's collar on-site with critical information such as owner's phone number and contact info.
    
Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.
   
Individualized Flea, Lice, and Tick Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control parasites in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Internal Parasite Control Programs:  With the use of fecal flotations, and physical examination and complete history, we can taper a deworming program that fits your pets risks for infestation.  Controlling parasites of your pets can contribute to your pet's well being as well as the humans in contact with your pet.

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight control,arthritis, dental health, renal and bladder health, and performance. We have very qualified staff that have had continuing education to help you decide what is the best food for your pet. 
    
Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression. We can also provide references to behaviourists.

Grooming:  We are able to clip hair for the comfort of your pet in the hot summer months or to help get rid of matts, burrs, etc.; however, a breed specific clip would be referred to a groomer in the area.We can provide contacts for these services. If you have a pet that has high anxiety for grooming, we can provide sedation or anesthesia to lessen the stress of clipping.  We are also able to sedate and provide pain meds to allow more comfortable ear plucking.

Bathing:  Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available.
